QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

mail your questions

- Hi!
I´ve been following 220 V since the start, my Prisoner Of War single is copy number 266. I have all your albums except the one that was released in Japan. (?) I´ve seen a lot of gigs with you guys, but there´s one gig that I will never forget: Stockholm 1986 when you opened for the biggest rockband ever AC/DC. I also saw you guys (some of them ed.) in Voltergeist in 1992 (probably 1993 ed.), still got a plectrum from Mats (cool).

Last gig I saw was at The Old Theater in Nov 2002, a very good show that I hope to be able to buy a copy of. (you did tape it, I know) I´ll finish off with a few questions, will you continue? Will you play at Storsjöyran? New album? Gigs?
Pelle

A - Hi Pelle!
Thanks for your mail and support. It´s nice to know that people that´s been with us all the way find the way to our website and interact. Thanks for all your nice words. Now to your questions. A lot of questions are coming in about Storsjöyran (big festival in Östersund) and we haven´t been asked to play actually, so we don´t know. New album? We´re gathering ideas, and if we can come up with something really cool you know…

The Japanese album? I guess you mean "Lethal Illusion". That´s not a japanase album, it´s released in Europe aswell. All albums except "Powergames" were released in Japan.

We did record the show on Nov 30th but we haven´t mixed yet. We know the tapes are of good technical quality, so we´ll see. Lots of things have to fall into place. We´re also looking at gigs for the spring and summer, we´d like to play a few shows. We have some offers both in Sweden and outside of Scandinavia, so we´re working on it.

Q - If I'm not mistaken you did play at Storsjöyran several years ago, will we be able to see you there this year?

A - We don't know yet.
/Frille
Q - I saw a 220 V t-shirt in one of the pics on the site, do you know where I can get one ?
Do you have any t-shirts for for sale at 220volt.nu?

A - No, but if anyone out there knows where to buy 220V t-shirts, let us know
No but it's a good idea, we'll see what we can do.

Q - I was able to get both Power Games and Mind Over Muscle on CD on the Metal Rendezvous label. Complete with bonus tracks including "Heavy Christmas" on
Power Games. I have friends looking to buy their own copies of these releases. Are they still in print and where can they be ordered from ? This music deserves to be heard all over the world!
Don in Vancouver Canada

A - Hi Don, the CD:s you're mentioning are bootlegs. The only official CDs available are the very first 220V (japan release), Lethal illusion, and the latest Volume 1. Eye to eye will be re-released soon by Power play records and hopefully they will be able to re-release the rest of the 220V catalogue aswell

Q - Hi. are there any tabs of any 220 volt songs available? I would very much like to see tabs of Prisoner of war and Firefall.
I'm still on a "high" after the concert at Gamla Teatern

A - Nope, no tabs, we at 220volt.nu would like to see some tabs to.
Send us your tabs folks.
/Mr Master

Q - Will the old records be released again? I had all of them but I have lost them :( I think they got lose when I moved once. I used to listen quite a lot to you guys. I have always thought you were a great band. Will the conceart be released on video or DVD? I know you taped it so please release it.
Mats Ljungkrantz

A - Hi Mats and thanks.
We know that an American company is working on a re-release of "Eye To Eye" with some bonus material at the moment. We´ve also been informed that a French company is keen on releasing stuff. More info will be posted on this site soon. It seems likely that the American release will be the first one. Hopefully early next year (2003), which is pretty soon. We don´t know if these companies will work on the other albums. CBS/Sony seems to be: NOT interested!
We don't know yet.

Q - Will it be released a DVD of some of your concerts...old and new??
Best wishes from a great fan in Brasil,
Durval
P.S.: thanks for coming back!

A - Thanks Durval, No we have no such plans for the moment, but who knows, maybe later on.
/Thomas

Q - Why didn't you play at Storsjöyran?
/Urban

A - They didn't ask

Q - Hi, I'm a 220volt fan in japan,
Ive finally found this 220volt official site few days ago
by asking a swedish friend to find it.(God, that was long way:) anyway,i'm a huge fan of Mr.Jocke Lundholm, but it seems like he left the band?
PLease tell me what's happened to him or what's his up to now or any infomation.I love to see him singing, dont mind coming to sweden!
Thank you -
Nana

A - Hi Nana,
Hope you´re doing great. If you take the time to look a bit more on the site you will find that we´re going to update with info about the bands history, all members included. This site is still new and lots of things will follow. The band was put to rest in 1992, but has been re-activated in this early line-up because in November 2002 we´re celebrating the 20th anniversary of our very first single. That´s why we´ve decided to start off with info on
what´s going on now. Please check back every now and then and you will find info on Jocke and the boys aswell.
He´s doing good though but isn´t extremely active on the music scene at the moment. We will have a history section soon.

/Mats
